PURPOSE: Homeowners have the best chance at avoiding foreclosure before the bank sues them in court. This clinic is designed to help homeowners struggling with their house payment but not yet in foreclosure. Participants will learn the basics of foreclosure, but the clinic will focus primarily on alternatives to foreclosure including loan modifications, bankruptcy, sales, and short sales.
